Our music ministry does not exist to entertain, but rather to use music as a vehicle to declare boldly that God’s truth is powerful and deserves our full attention and devotion.

The 10 C’s of Music and Worship
These are 10 words and phrases that guide our thinking concerning music and worship here at FBC.

The Adult Worship Choir has recorded our 3rd CD. It was released in mid-March 2012.

Here are the opportunities for involvement

Worship Choir
Provides musical leadership in the 11 am worship service.
Rehearses every Wednesday from 7-8:15 pm in the choir room.
Requirements for membership:
Must be over 18 and exhibit a love for Jesus Christ and a desire to use your voice through song with others to joyfully proclaim His name.
Ability to read music is not required.

 Youth Choir

Provides music leadership in the 6 pm worship service
Rehearses every Sunday afternoon from 4:15-5:00 pm in the choir room.
Requirements for membership: Must be in grades 7-12
Praise Team
Provides music leadership in the 9 am worship service
Rehearses every Sunday morning at 8:30
Membership is available through discussions with Clay
Instrumental Ensemble
Provides music leadership in the 11 am worship service 
Rehearses every Wednesday at 6:00 pm
and also meets for Bible study and rehearsal on Sundays at 10 am.
Membership is open to anyone who plays an instrument and is at least in 9th grade or above.

Adult Handbell Choir
Provides music leadership monthly and seasonally
Rehearses September-May every Tuesday at 5:30
Membership is limited to 12 ringers
Fill-in ringers are welcome. Music reading is required.

Children’s and Preschool Choirs

Provides musical training for children
These choirs meet every Sunday during the school year at 5 pm in various locations.

The children’s choirs will present musicals throughout the year.
