If you're like me, you've watched the hit TV show and thought, "I would love to do that!" Well here's your chance to do a scaled down version with your family! Our Amazing Race will take place Saturday, August 14. Youth families will compete against each other in a mega-treasure hunt, following clues and completing various tasks along the way. The family who first crosses the finish line on Saturday evening will be rewarded a wonderful prize. But win or lose, each family will receive something even better; an exciting, memory-making, relationship-building adventure! The deadline to get your team signed up is Wednesday, July 28.
- The race will begin at The Station at 9 AM on that Saturday and conclude in Eastman on Saturday evening.
- Teams must be comprised four people. At least one them must be an adult (driver) and at least one of them must be a student in our youth group. Other, non-family students from the youth group can be added to complete a team.
- The entry fee is $50 per team. This includes lunch and supper on Saturday and all of your activity fees. So, you provide the vehicle for your family to ride in, a full tank of gas, and the entry fee... everything else will be taken care of.
